CONCERT

CHANEL Pygmalion Days 2024 20th Anniversary

INTRODUCTION

The founder of CHANEL, Gabrielle Chanel, supported Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky, and many artists: she is said to have been a “Pygmalion”.
The word “Pygmalion” derives from Greek mythology, meaning a person who believes in, supports, and develops talented artists.

The CHANEL NEXUS HALL, based on such a spirit, has been supporting young musicians through the CHANEL Pygmalion Days programme since 2005.
Over the years, a total of 91 performers have presented concerts through the programme, taking a step forward in their musical careers.

In 2024, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the CHANEL NEXUS HALL, the CHANEL Pygmalion Days programme will also enter its 20th year.
To thank everyone who has supported the programme so generously throughout this time, we will be hosting a special series of anniversary concerts featuring 23 incredible performers who took part in the programme earlier in their careers.
Please join us, through this concert series, in enjoying a musical look back over the first 20 years of CHANEL Pygmalion Days.
