CONCERT

CHANEL Pygmalion Days
Chamber Music Series

2017.6.3 SAT - 6.7 WED

INTRODUCTION

Gabrielle Chanel was described as a “Pygmalion”. She supported Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky and Jean Cocteau when they were still lesser-known. It is with her spirit that CHANEL NEXUS HALL has been hosting its regular concert series “CHANEL Pygmalion Days” as a place of expression for ushering budding new talents into the world since it started their activities in 2005.
The CHANEL Pygmalion Days concert series has played a vital role in helping many young professional musicians to further their growth as artists through chamber music performances. At the same time it has expanded the opportunity for audiences to enjoy high-quality chamber music recitals. Thus, we have been set to embark on a project, in which artists who have enriched themselves through their experience at CHANEL Pygmalion Days concerts, will perform chamber music in collaboration with richly talented professional musicians of various nationalities and generations. Here, we proudly present you with the compelling program.
