Gabrielle Chanel was described as a “Pygmalion”. She supported Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky and Jean Cocteau when they were still lesser-known. “CHANEL Pygmalion Days”, based on such a spirit, is a program to provide young artists with opportunities to perform at CHANEL NEXUS HALL.
CHANEL NEXUS HALL hosts solo recitals by select young musicians throughout the year, and a chamber music series in early summer and autumn as a forum for their further development. For our autumn concert, we have brought together several budding Japanese musicians to perform a selection of well-known pieces of chamber music. We hope you will enjoy the delightful performance they create through mutual inspiration, guidance and growth.
