INTRODUCTION
In keeping with its commitment to cinematic creation, CHANEL supports the CHANEL AND CINEMA – TOKYO LIGHTS mentorship programme. Under the stewardship of movie director and friend of the House Hirokazu Koreeda, a major figure in international cinema awarded multiple times in the world’s most acclaimed festivals, this unique programme aims to support the emergence of a new generation of Japanese directors.
Selected winners Rin Shuto, Sakura Tanaka, and Aoi Furukawa received support from both CHANEL and leading professionals in the film industry to bring to life their short films that will be showcased at CHANEL Nexus Hall from 24th April to 24th May 2026.
