CHANEL Pygmalion Days 2013 participating artist Sayaka Chiba (violin) and 2018 participating artist Moeko Ezaki (piano) will perform the complete cycle of Brahms’s violin sonatas.
The two first performed together at a CHANEL Pygmalion Days concert in 2024. They found deep resonance in each other’s musical expression, creating a special moment in which the music seemed to rise spontaneously. It was an unforgettable experience in their lives as musicians, and immediately after the performance, a shared desire to continue performing together naturally emerged. Now, their dream of presenting Brahms’s complete violin sonatas as a duo has come to fruition.
