CHANEL Pygmalion Days 2013
INTRODUCTION
The founder of CHANEL, Gabrielle Chanel, is said to have been a “Pygmalion”. She supported Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky, Raymond Radiguet, Luchino Visconti and Jean Cocteau when they were still unknown. The word “Pygmalion” derives from Greek mythology, meaning a person who believes in, supports and develops talented artists.
“CHANEL Pygmalion Days”, based on such a spirit, is a program to provide young artists with opportunities to perform at CHANEL NEXUS HALL. With your patronage, the program has been steadily establishing itself since its start in 2005 and many brilliant young artists have participated in this program every year.
In this year, five talented young artists were selected and have been presenting their performances. It would be a great pleasure if you could watch such young artists grow and feel their deeper involvement as they perform in a concert.

- 1st of the month, two months preceding the month the concert is held
- Application deadline
- 5th of the month preceding the month the concert is held
- Notification of attendees
- From the middle to 20th of the month preceding the month the concert is held
*If the application start date/deadline falls on Sunday, a national holiday or any other day upon which the administration office is closed, it will be extended to the following day.
*Only the attendees will be notified.
