Yuichiro Fukuda


Yuichiro Fukuda
Born in Fukuoka. After attending the Toho Gakuen Music High School, he enrolled the Toho Gakuen School of Music on a scholarship and graduated in March 2013 with top honor. His achievements include first prize in the elementary school division of the 4th Senzoku Gakuen Junior Music Competition and first prize in the junior high school division of the 59th Student Music Concours of Japan for both the Tokyo and nationwide competitions. He also won the IMA Music Prize at the 9th Ishikawa Music Academy. Upon passing the 21st ABC audition for newcomers, he was awarded the prize for best music at that concert. He has performed with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and the Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, among others. He has studied violin under Koichiro Harada, Gérard Poulet, and Sugino Kobayashi, and chamber music under Koichiro Harada, Hakuro Mori, and the Tokyo String Quartet.
