Koshiro Takeuchi
Violin
Koshiro TAKEUCHI was born in Tokyo. He started the violin at the age of 5. He won Third Prize at the Long-Thibaud International Music Competition in 2023 at the age of 18. Also, he won Fifth Prize at the 57th Premio Paganini Violin Competition in the same year, as well as the Amici di Paganini Association Award (Best Contemporary Music Performance Award) and the Dr. Enrico Costa Memorial Award. In addition, He won First Prize at the 71st Student Music Concours of Japan Osaka Tournament. He also won First Prize at the 72nd Student Music Concours of Japan Tokyo Tournament and Second Prize at the National Tournament, as well as the Yokohama Citizen's Award (Audience Award). He won Third Prize at the 90th Japan Music Competition. He was Semi-finalist at the 17th Seoul International Music Competition. He won First Prize at the 7th Design K Music Competition. He received the IMA Music Award at Ishikawa Music Academy in 2018.
In August 2023, he performed at the Suntory Hall in the "Nobuko Imai Special - 80th Birthday Anniversary Concert" under the conduct of Kazuki Yamada, performing with Nobuko Imai and receiving favorable reviews. In 2024, he made his debut performing with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Tadaaki Otaka.
He is currently a full scholarship student at the Manhattan School of Music's Classical Violin and a full scholarship student at the Tokyo College of Music's Artist Diploma Course. He is currently studying under Koichiro Harada, Mayuko Kamio and Lucie Robert.

In August 2023, he performed at the Suntory Hall in the "Nobuko Imai Special - 80th Birthday Anniversary Concert" under the conduct of Kazuki Yamada, performing with Nobuko Imai and receiving favorable reviews. In 2024, he made his debut performing with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Tadaaki Otaka.
