Yuya Mizuno
Cello
Born in 1998. Yuya Mizuno started to learn cello at the age of six. He won the third prize in the cello section of the 83rd Music Competition of Japan. He won the first prize as well as the audience award of the 13th Tokyo Music Competition (in the section of string music). He won the first prize of the 23rd Concert Marronnier 21 String Section. He performed as a soloist in Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra and others. He also performed as a soloist in recitals in various places in Japan, and also participated in PMF2017, Takefu International Music Festival, Ishikawa/Kanazawa Garden Music Festival, Dai Miyata “Dai-ism”, Musicians related to Fujisawa, “Cello Collection” produced by Yoko Hasegawa and Kaeko Mukoyama, Cello Repubblica, NHK-FM Recital Nova. He received a scholarship of Cello Ensemble Saito of Music School of Toho Gakuen School of Music. He also received a scholarship of the 45th and 48th Ezoe Memorial Recruit Foundation. He was also a scholarship student of the Rohm Music Foundation (Public interested incorporated foundation). He has studied cello under Masami Kawachi, Satoru Tsunemitsu and Sumiko Kurata. He graduated from Toho Gakuen Music High School with the top of the class. He finished the soloist diploma course of Toho Gakuen School of Music on a scholarship. Currently he devotes himself to his study under Miklos Perenyi in Franz Liszt Academy of Music.
