Yusuke Yabe
Cello
Yusuke YABE began studying the cello at the age of 8 and studied under Hakuro Mori. Received the 2nd Prize and E. Nakamichi Award at the 86th Music Competition of Japan. Has won the 69th Student Music Concours of Japan (High School Category), and also received NHK Award. His stage appearances include Miyazaki International Music Festival, Suntory Hall ARK Classics, and Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy in Tokyo among others.
Completed the Soloist Diploma Course at Toho Gakuen College. As a member of Regulus Quartet, he participated in Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy Okushiga, Project Q (held by TV Man Union, Inc., Japan), and Viola Space 2021. He is one of the 6th Fellow of the Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy.
