Yuna Kobayashi
Piano
Born in Yamanashi. She graduated from the Musical Performance Department of the Toho Gakuen School of Music, where she majored in piano. She has been awarded prizes at a number of domestic and overseas competitions such as the Camilotoni International Music Competition and the San Gemini International Music Competition (both in Italy). To date, she has studied under Akemi Nagasawa, Etsuko Tazaki, and Aki Kuroda. Since 2010, she has been studying under Bruno Mezzena, who is a brilliant pupil of Arturo Benedetti Michellangeli, and Orazio Sciortino, a renowned composer and pianist. She also gives musical performances in Italy and Japan as a soloist and chamber music player. In 2013, she won 2nd prize at the 3rd International Piano Competition "Luciano Luciani".
