Yuki Yoshimi
Piano
Born in 2000, Yuki Yoshimi won the first prize in the 86th Japanese Music Competition, becoming the youngest winner, and the Silver Medal at the 4th Manhattan International Music Competition in 2019. Also, he was selected as one of the 12 semi-finalists in the prestigious Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in 2021. In 2022, he became a quarterfinalist at Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. He received the Allion Toho Music Award in 2015. He has given recitals throughout Japan, including the prestigious concert halls, such as Kioi Hall, Hamarikyu Asahi Hall and Toppan Hall. In addition, he was selected as CHANEL Pygmalion Days Artist in 2019 and gave 6 recitals at CHANEL NEXUS HALL. Yuki has already performed with numerous orchestras including Orchestra Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. In December 2020, he performed Mozart Concerto No.17 K.453 with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra as a substitute for Michel Dalberto, and he gained a great reputation. Yuki started to play the piano when he was 5 years old. He is currently studying at the New England Conservatory of Music. He is studying with Alexander Korsantia, Hisako Ueno, and Kei Itoh. He was a recipient of ROHM Music Foundation Scholarship, Ezoe Memorial Recruit Foundation Scholarship, and Ezaki Scholarship Scholarship.
