Yuhei Endo
Contrabass
Born 1986. Started playing the piano at the age of five and the contrabass at 13. Won a prize at the stringed instruments section of the 15th Takarazuka Vega Music Festival in 2004. Participated in the Saito Kinen Chamber Music Study Group for Young People and Seiji Ozawa’s Ongaku-juku in 2006. Also, performed a solo recital for the “Series of Promising Young Artists” at Rokkatei Hall. Played at “Ensemble Series Produced by JT” in 2007. After graduating from the Music High School attached to the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, entered the Contrabass Course of the same University. Presently enrolloed in the third year of that course. Studied under Yoshio Nagashima.
